XIII. The Road Driven
Sky bright blue
puffy clouds floating free
blazing trees marching down the hill
black ribbon curves beckon
Sky bright blue
puffy clouds floating free
blazing trees marching down the hill
black ribbon curves beckon
Warm
sun
Ocean
dances
with
Earth
While Time watches
and Nature nods
the wind
through the blossoms
bees
scents
spring
sun
dappling the earth
rebirth
Six years, yet another Saturday
Life began
Life ended
Towers fell
Wars began
Six years of you
Snuggles in the darkness, loving whispers
Backrubs
For perhaps this is what forever feels like
Being with you
She moves like the wind
Dressed in flowing gray
Bearing the gifts of the Gods
She searches the hidden
Seeking secrets
Lunar
Solar
Balance
The sky so full of stars
The ocean so full of life
Melding together at the horizon
Earth floating in a sea of stars bearing a sea of life
The wind sighs through the pines
A river whispering dreams and secrets
The deer graze
The bears roam
Nature rules this world
The dry wind brings the desert scent
Dust and chaparral dance
The light, clear
No shadows stretch
Bleached white branches, tangled
Tumbleweeds, chased by the wind
Jutting mountains, cloaked in dark green pine
Reaching for the turquoise skies surrounding
Yellow Sun reflecting on white sands, glittering
Between my toes
I walk the oceanless beach
