Thoughts

I've been busy trying to get myself better organized. I've started work on my control journal and card file. I've also been messing around on my computer, getting it the way I want. Le sigh. I recently had trouble in Media Player-it would play songs, but no sound. Royally sucked. I installed a bunch of codecs, uninstalled iTunes, etc. I have no idea what I did, but it started working again. I had burned all my itunes music to CD and ripped them in Media Player as MP3s @ 320Kbps which makes them sound really nice. I also listed CDs we own so I can replace them as a lot of them are scratched up.

I've been reading a lot of blogs lately and I'm planning out some things I can do with this blog in particular, which ties into my organizational push-I want my basics in a routine so I can concentrate on my novel writing, my self-education, my daughter and my husband without worrying about the state of my house.

The Unofficial Paul Krugman Web Page

The Unofficial Paul Krugman Web Page
I read this and I had to agree with Mr. Krugman's points. Currently I'm unemployed and I haven't had hardly any luck in finding a job. It is very hard nowadays to live on one income. I have office skills and computer skills but a lack of paid work experience using those skills, which makes it difficult to get a position. Not to mention a learning disability which makes things interesting work wise in getting my tasks done on time and properly.

Cat Vacuuming and Flat Tax

Cat Vacuuming: Where one tries to find something to do other than actually writing.
EX. This post. I'm trying to avoid writing the pro's of a Flat Tax. ECCCH. Here are some links. :)
Should We have a Flat Tax?, Taxes
and Flatten It, Already.
The first link is an accountant's view of the flat tax proposals, the second is a index of articles about the flat tax, giving information to both sides, and the third is a proponent of the flat tax.
