Also, I have noticed that this post marks my 200th post since I began the blog so many years ago. A small sum compared to the years, but I plead being seduced by Livejournal and its clones.
I have been writing again, and have been posting the resultant fic to my creative journal and at FF.net and Archive of Our Own.

Sand [28 Ratchets] {Archive of Our Own, FF.net}
Conversation [28 Ratchet] {Archive of Our Own, FF.net}
In addition, I am going to try to get off my lazy, distracted aft and post more recs and other things. I have ideas for eassays, I am trying to iron out, and have been catching up on my rather large list of fics to read.

Have done some minor housekeeping here, with cleaning up posts and tags, and also researching an easier to use layout for my main site.+
Will be updating my recs pages as I have time, now that school is back in session and I have my days free. I have a backlog of fics to read and rec from quite few fandoms, including my newest one, Iron Man.

Have added a Feedburner feed to the blog. I’ve spliced in my del.icio.us links as well as posts from here. The link and an email subscription form is under the heading Various Bits and Drabs.
Upgraded to Firefox 2.0 and waiting for two-three extensions to be updated-Blog This for Firefox for Windows Live Writer, del.icio.us and Furl tools. I adore the new built-in spell checker and like the fact I can add spellings to the dictionary. The default theme is very pretty. I got rid of a bunch of extensions and haven’t missed them-well except for the three I listed above and the handy dandy BBcode extension (which I wish had LJ specific codes for ease of use in commenting and posting)

Testing Windows Live Writer with the currently playing plugin and iTunes plugin. Seems to work so far, though it is a bit slow in updating the song when the song changes.
Much nicer than w.bloggar and seems much prettier.

Remember Gallant/Goofus from Highlights? Somebody slashed them
I’ve posted my LJ posts to my Wordpress place and I’ve been getting hits on various posts-Highlander Hanyou and that sporking of that ocular hemorrahge-inducing fic. Lordy. I’m googlable!
I’ve started another place. I call it the Scriptorium and I’ll be posting my fics there once I get done with current projects
It is meant to be a writing archive for fanfics, orginal stuff and perhaps essays as well. We’ll see.

I posted my first fanfic, and have been playing around in LJ-land.
LJ Post is the fic. A drabble exploring InuYasha’s thoughts.

I have an LJ now for those with LJ. Its called The Abbey , so check it out!

LOL. Sorry couldn't resist. I'm trying out Flock and it seems VERY useful for those who live in a media-rich world. Some minor issues-taking forever to load the favorites list (did a mass import of 3K bookmarks from IE, plus 8k from FireFox {most are duplicates}) and a serious lack of themes, but the default theme is pretty and useful. It had no problem importing about 1,104 feeds from GreatNews and I really like the news feature they have. Not to mention the handy-dandy blogging client built-in so I can write a post on the fly, or blog a neat post/site I see while browsing about, plus linking to my flickr account and even sharing my favorites/bookmarks.

I was trying to fix some ill-written links so pictures actually show up and my sidebar keeps getting reset to its default look. Quite irritating. I see they are doing maintenance tonight so perhaps it will be fixed soon.

I've been thinking about switching to this blog from my Blogger blog. I like being able to categorize my posts for easy reference and it looks like they haven't had as many issues as Blogger does. I do wonder how easy it would be to add images to my sidebar, like my badges and stickers.
